FTS Names Chuck Bernicker Chief Financial Officer
PHILADELPHIA, PA – August 20, 2012
Financial Transaction Services (FTS), a full-service provider of electronic transaction processing services, has named Chuck Bernicker Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective August, 2012. He will be responsible for leading all of FTS Finance & Accounting initiatives including Merger & Acquisitions analysis.

Mr. Bernicker is a payment industry veteran who brings over a decade of experience in senior management with several large companies, most recently serving as an Executive Director of Heartland Payment Systems. In that position he was responsible for identifying new distribution for existing products and services, as well as applying critical analysis to Heartland’s core and non-core business units. Prior to Heartland, he served in senior leadership positions with both Bank of America and TD Bank, concentrating on bank operations related to issuing processing, merchant processing and loss prevention. Mr. Bernicker also served as a member of the Card Operations and Risk Executive Council for Visa/USA.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Bernicker was a member of the audit group in Ernst & Young’s Philadelphia office, where he became a certified public accountant. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Delaware’s Lerner School of Business.
